Final assignment guideline

The final report should contain 3 files.
1. Adobe Illustrator file (*.ai)
The file should be compatible with Adobe Illustrator version CS.
no limitation for artboard size.
Document color mode should be RGB mode.
2. Adobe Flash document file (*.fla)
The file should be compatible with Adobe Flash version CS3 or lower versions i.e., Macromedia Flash 8 or Macromedia Flash MX 2004.
3. Adobe Flash movie file (*.swf)
The flash movie file should be executable on Adobe Flash Player 9 (the latest stable build of Adobe Flash Player).

Checkpoints
1. Character should feature central role in animation.
2. The animation has to have the probability or causality during the playtime (in the aspect of narrative or visual expression).
3. The consistency between ai file and fla file. i.e., the consistency between the motion of character in .fla file and layer composition in .ai file
4. The effective usage of flash-embedded techniques, such as filter, symbol, instance, motion guide, shape twin, masking, etc. are required.
5. The performance of compiled .swf file. See bandwidth profiler; beware of frame rate, abuse of shapes and symbols, especially bitmap images and sound files.
6. The animation should be longer than 1 min.

* Checkpoints can be revised by the average quality of received files.

Compress all 3 files and e-mail it to me. (ssu.media.cdp@gmail.com)
If file name or subject does not follow the guide line, the demerits will be given.

B. Attached file
No blanks in student’s name.

C. .ai , .fla, .swf files in attached zipp file
The filenames should be as below.
20070000_KimYonggeun_movie title (or character name).ai

ex)
20070000_KimYonggeun_shoegazer.ai
20070000_KimYonggeun_shoegazer rocks.fla
20070000_KimYonggeun_shoegazer rocks.swf
